Quick Tips to help my Paleo Challengers…

1. Food Prep is HUGE! Set yourself up to succeed. Cut up your meat and veggies on Sunday and bag it into portion sized ziplocs.

2. Lunch meat is a big help to start. especially for those that are not used to eating a lot of protein. its ready, its easy to portion. look for “natural” with less sodium and preservatives.

3. Give yourself 2 weeks with a food journal. This helps you determine what you actually eat, instead of what you think you eat.

4. watch the fruit! even though it is “paleo”, most fruit is high glycemic. try to stick with strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.

5. limit the carbs at night. taper off and stick with protein and fat (green veggies are ok too) in the evening and after dinner.

thats all for now. ill update with some more tips later. also, as people get me recipes they have tried that are good, i will post them so you guys can all try them
